FAQ

Everything You Need To Know

The line filter and the BLDC pump's inbuilt filter should be cleaned once every week or more frequently if the fuel quality is poor. Regular cleaning ensures smooth fuel flow, accurate dispensing, and extends the life of the pump.

Maintaining a minimum fuel level (dead stock) prevents the pump from drawing air. Running the tank too low can cause suction problems, inaccurate fuel measurement (air counting), and may damage the pump and flow meter.

A 6 sq. mm or larger cable is recommended for all electrical connections. Proper cable sizing minimizes voltage drop and ensures the pump receives the required 12V DC power for reliable operation.

The vehicle engine should be started before dispensing so the alternator can continuously charge the battery while the pump is operating. This helps maintain a stable voltage supply and improves pump performance.

Yes. The vehicle should remain completely stationary and kept in Neutral during dispensing. This ensures safe operation and accurate fuel measurement.

Switching off the pump after every dispensing operation prevents unnecessary power consumption, reduces wear on the pump, and increases the overall life of the system.

The fuel tank should be thoroughly cleaned before first use and periodically during operation. Clean fuel free from dust, rust, water, or other foreign particles helps protect the pump, flow meter, filters, and dispensing system from damage.

Running the tank dry can cause the pump to draw air instead of fuel. This may lead to suction failure, inaccurate dispensing, air counting, and can seriously damage the Neogi Flow Scope and associated accessories.

No. The flow meter, controller, and other system components should never be tampered with. Unauthorized modifications can affect dispensing accuracy, damage the equipment, void the warranty, and compromise safety.

Suction problems are generally caused by: • Low fuel level in the tank. • Clogged line filter or pump filter. • Dirty fuel or contaminated tank. • Air entering the suction line. • Improper electrical wiring causing low voltage.

To maximize system life: • Clean both filters weekly. • Use clean, contamination-free fuel. • Maintain adequate fuel in the tank. • Use the recommended electrical cable size. • Switch off the pump after use. • Never allow the tank to run dry.

For optimum performance: • Weekly: Clean the line filter and BLDC pump filter. • Daily: Check fuel level and inspect for leaks. • Periodically: Clean the fuel tank and inspect electrical wiring and hose connections.

Check the following before requesting service: • Ensure sufficient fuel is available in the tank. • Clean the line filter and pump filter. • Verify the battery voltage is approximately 12V DC. • Check all electrical connections. • Ensure there are no air leaks or blockages in the suction line. If the issue persists, contact the NTR India service team for technical assistance.

Yes. Fuel contaminated with dust, rust, water, or other foreign particles can clog filters, reduce flow rate, affect meter accuracy, and damage internal components. Always use clean fuel from reliable sources.
